Exquisite strand of keshi pearls in varying hues of pastel pink with beautiful luster. These are freshwater cultured pearls; 8-9mm; the pink is a natural colour. Pearls are strung with accents of crystal-shaped pink tourmaline beads on pink pearl silk. 22.5 inches long. Sterling silver ball clasp. Hand knotted in studio.
Keshi pearls are rare; non-nucleated pearls that form without a bead or seed at their core. Because they consist of pure solid nacre they are known for their exceptional mirror-like luster and unique organic (baroque) shapes.
